About Me

I have a passion for wildlife and animal behavior. I am a researcher interested in avian ecology and behavior. I love working hands-on with birds in their natural habitat and playing with data behind the scenes.

I am currently a PhD candidate at the University of Massachusetts—Amherst working with Jeff Podos and Luke Remage-Healey. My dissertation research explores the effects of early auditory experience on species-specific song discrimination in songbirds. Before starting at UMass, I earned my master's degree at East Carolina University studying remote sensing and acoustic monitoring of king rails.
